XOLO launches Q700 Club Android smartphone with IP55 Protection at Rs 6,999 in India


New Delhi: Lava’s sub-brand XOLO on Friday launched its budget smartphone Q700 Club with IP55 Protection at Rs 6,999 in India.

Q700 Club sports a 4.5 inch IPS FWVGA touchscreen display (854×480 pixels resolution) with 218 ppi pixel density and is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor.

The device runs on the Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system supported with 1GB RAM. With 8GB Internal storage on board, the space can be expanded upto 32GB with a microSD card.

The smartphone has a 5 mega pixel autofocus rear camera with Flash that can record full HD videos (1080p) at 30 frames per second, and a front-facing VGA camera for video calling.

On the connectivity front, the device has Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi and 3G, as well as a microSD card slot and a microUSB port.

Xolo had earlier announced the launch of its Omega series smartphones Omega 5.0 and Omega 5.5 through microblogging site Twitter.

The devices have been priced at Rs 8,999 and Rs 9,999, respectively.

Xolo Omega 5.0 features a 5-inch display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels, while the Omega 5.0 features an 8 MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera. The phone is powered by a 2100mAh battery.

Omega 5.5 sports a 5.5-inch display, 13MP rear camera. On the front side, it has the same 2MP camera like Omega 5.0.

Both the smartphones are powered by a 1.4 GHz octa core Processor from Mediatek and 8GB of internal storage with 1GB of RAM. The storage can be expand upto 32GB using the micro sd card.
